Por el delito previsto en la Ley Orgánica sobre el Derecho de la Mujer a una Vida Libre de Violencia, este miércoles en horas de la tarde, el gobierno revolucionario de Yelitza Santaella a través de la Policía Socialista del Estado Monagas, detuvo a Carlos Eduardo Martínez Blanca de 27 años, por presuntamente golpear a su pareja en Alto Guri.
El coronel José Ángel González Espín, secretario de Prevención y Seguridad Ciudadana y director de PoliMonagas, explicó que este hecho ocurrió a las 5 de la tarde, cuando llovía en esta entidad.
“De acuerdo a la versión de la victima, estaba lloviendo y en medio de la habitación había una gotera donde se encontraba descansando Martínez y ella le pidió que se levantara y la ayudara a arreglar ese defecto en el techo. Por tal motivo el sujeto se levantó muy molesto de la cama y la abordó, presuntamente golpeándola por varias partes del cuerpo, con extrema agresión verbal”, dijo el funcionario.
La afectada logró salir de la habitación y se dirigió a casa de unos vecinos, quienes la acompañaron a la comandancia policial ubicada en la avenida Bella Vista de Maturín para denunciar lo ocurrido.
González Espín señaló que el supuesto agresor se presentó voluntariamente en la sede de la Policía del Estado y se encuentra aprehendido en la sala de Guarda y Custodia, a las órdenes a la Fiscalía Décima Octava del Ministerio Público.

En relación a este tema, el coronel González Espín instó a las mujeres de este Estado, a denunciar cualquier irregularidad que dañe su moral a través de agresiones físicas y verbales.
