En los procedimientos realizados por los distintos cuerpos de seguridad y prevención adscritos al Plan Patria Segura en Monagas, en la semana del 5 al 11 de julio, fueron detenidas un total de 116 personas por diferentes delitos.
El secretario de Prevención y seguridad Ciudadana y director de PoliMonagas, Coronel José Ángel González Espín, señaló que el Ministerio de Relaciones Interiores, Justicia y Paz, evalúa la aplicación de los distintos dispositivos para garantizar la efectividad del Patrullaje Inteligente.
“Los resultados de la segunda semana de julio, reflejan más de 100 detenidos en los que destacan 42 personas detenidas en flagrancia, lo cual va ligado directamente a la efectividad que tienen los cuerpos de seguridad en la aplicación del Patrullaje Inteligente, sistema que se perfeccionará cuando entre en funcionamiento la nueva plataforma tecnológica de Emergencias 171”, expresó.

El jefe policial precisó que en la respectiva semana, fueron recuperados 27 vehículos, entre ellos seis motocicletas, las cuales se encontraban requeridas en el Sistema Integrado de Información Policial (Siipol); además los efectivos lograron la incautación de 16 armas de fuego y el desmantelaron dos bandas delictivas.
“Es importante señalar que las armas de fuego incautadas, serán inutilizadas en el próximo acto que será anunciado por la Dirección de Prevención del Delito, recordando que en días pasados, en acto público en el sector Santa Inés, la comunidad presenció la inhabilitación de 52 armamentos”, manifestó.
Operativo fin de semana
En relación al despliegue especial efectuado por la Policía Socialista del Estado Monagas durante el pasado fin de semana, González Espín afirmó que en toda la entidad, se retuvieron 118 motocicletas por incumplimiento en el horario de circulación.
“Como resultados del operativo especial, puesto en funcionamiento los días viernes, sábado y domingo, un total de 118 motos fueron retenidas, cuyos conductores se encontraban circulando por toda la entidad pasadas las 8 de la noche, por lo que seremos bien estricto con el cumplimiento de este decreto”, expresó el funcionario.
