Gracias a la política agroalimentaria que ejecuta la gobernadora revolucionaria Yelitza Santaella para combatir la guerra económica, actualmente se producen más de 100 mil pollos en el sur del estado Monagas.
Así lo informó Salim Jiménez, secretario del Poder Popular para la Producción y el Desarrollo Endógeno de la Gobernación de Monagas, quien explicó que el Ejecutivo Regional recuperó 10 galpones para la cría de pollos en el sur de la entidad.
Destacó que el Gobierno de Monagas fortalece la producción de esta especie para garantizar el abastecimiento de las familias de la región, garantizando con este proyecto el acceso del producto a más de 50 mil familias monaguenses.
“Durante este año la gobernadora Yelitza Santaella dispuso reimpulsar la producción agroalimentaria en el estado Monagas, apoyando a los productores con financiamientos para reactivar la cría de esta especie. Actualmente se producen 100 mil pollos en esta zona”, expresó.
Argumentó que de las 50 mil familias favorecidas cada una tiene acceso a la compra de dos pollos a precios accesibles.
Detalló que hasta la fecha se han producido dos camadas, lo que equivale a una generación de 200 mil pollos en beneficio del pueblo.
