Cumpliendo con los lineamientos del gobierno regional en continuar brindando excelente atención en salud a los habitantes de la región, el Hospital Ambulatorio “Dr. José Antonio Serres”, ubicado en la comunidad de las Cocuizas en el municipio Maturín, realizó la celebración de los 28 años de su fundación, acto que se llevó a cabo en las instalaciones de este recinto.
La Autoridad Única en Salud, Capitana María Alejandra Ruíz, en compañía de otras autoridades gubernamentales inicio las actividades conmemorativas con la celebración de una misa de acción de gracias y palabras del director de este centro de salud en las instalaciones del centro de salud.
Actos culturales y una ponencia realizada por la Dirección Sectorial para la Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación, fueron otros de los eventos desarrollados, los cuales se extenderán hasta el próximo viernes
Por su parte, Ruíz destacó la participación de todo el personal médico, enfermeras y obreros que hacen vida en esta institución, asimismo manifestó que la gobernadora revolucionaria, Yelitza Santaella continúa fortaleciendo el sistema de salud en la entidad, ya que este además de ser un compromiso con el pueblo de Monagas, es la puesta en marcha de lo contemplado en los objetivos históricos del Plan de La Patria, legado del Comandante Eterno Hugo Chávez.
Jornadas Sociales por conmemoración
Luis Briceño, director de este hospital, manifestó que para el 8 y 9 de julio se realizarán jornadas sociales a todos los habitantes de la parroquia Las Cocuizas del municipio Maturín.
“Estas jornadas forman parte de las actividades contempladas en el marco de la celebración del vigésimo octavo aniversario del hospital”.
De igual manera destaco que los trabajadores de la institución esperan el pronto ascenso de la categoría del hospital al nivel Tipo III.
