Comprometida con generar bienestar en materia de salud a los monaguenses, la gobernadora revolucionaria, Yelitza Santaella inicio una serie de programas preventivos de enfermedades, a través de los cuales se busca generar conciencia entre la población; los mismos se ejecutan con el apoyo del Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Salud (Mppps), la Dirección Regional de Salud y el Poder Popular.
Esta campaña atenderá a todas las comunidades en áreas como inmunización, tuberculosis, salud sexual y reproductiva, enfermedades crónicas no transferibles, enfermedades transmitidas por vectores (malaria, chikungunya etc.) y la promoción de la buena salud.
La máxima autoridad del estado ha manifestado que trabajando con todos los organismos competentes y el Poder Popular, se podrá contrarrestar los índices de enfermedades de obesidad, hipertensión, diabetes, así como también las que se transmiten a través del acto sexual, por eso es importante el llamado a la prevención.
Embarazo Precoz
La gobernadora Yelitza Santaella, en días pasados lanzó la campaña de concienciación para prevenir el embarazo precoz en varios comunidades, la cual será impulsada por los Consejos Comunales y Círculos de Lucha Popular ( CLP) y Unidades de Batalla Bolívar Chávez (Ubch), en la parroquia las Cocuizas del municipio Maturín.
En el municipio Sotillo, el alcalde Humberto Rascanelli junto al poder popular realiza un censo para identificar el número de mujeres en embarazo y brindarles así la atención respectiva, con el fin de lograr disminuir el índice de mortalidad materna infantil.
El Ejecutivo regional extenderá este programa preventivo a todas las comunidades de la geografía monaguense.
“La prevención comienza por la familia, por eso el rol de las madres y de los padres en el hogar es indispensable en la educación de nuestros muchachos”, afirmó la gobernadora de Monagas.
Prevención
En el estado Monagas existen actualmente más de 476 preventores de salud que trabajan en las comunidades y centros asistenciales promoviendo información que evite el desarrollo de enfermedades, embarazo precoz y enfermedades de transmisión sexual. Estas acciones las ejecutan a través de las visitas casa por casa, brindando una atención de calidad a la colectividad en general.
