Cumpliendo los lineamientos emanados por la gobernadora revolucionaria de Monagas Yelitza Santaella, a través de la Gran Misión Barrio Nuevo, Barrio Tricolor suministraron más de 445 mil litros de agua a diferentes comunidades del municipio Maturín.
El Coronel Luis González Marrón coordinador de esta gran misión en la entidad, señalo que están suministrando agua potable, gracias al esfuerzo en conjunto entre el Gobierno Nacional, Regional y el Poder Popular en los siete corredores tricolores de la entidad.
Cabe mencionar que estas actividades de suministro de agua se deben a la rápida respuesta que ha dado el gobierno revolucionario y que se realiza en los sectores más vulnerables.
Richard Miranda, habitante de la comunidad La Voluntad de Dios, agradeció a la primera mandataria regional Yelitza Santaella y a la Gran Misión Barrio Nuevo, Barrio Tricolor por siempre tomar en cuenta a las comunidades más desprotegidas.
Hasta ahora se han beneficiado con este servicio más de 2 mil 700 familias, sumando un total de 13 mil 644 habitantes de diferentes comunidades de la ciudad de Maturín.
Con esta iniciativa del Gobierno revolucionario del presidente Nicolás Maduro y de la gobernadora Yelitza Santaella cumplen con el legado del Comandante Eterno de la Revolución Bolivariana Hugo Chávez Frías.
