Organizan mes aniversario del Hospital
Psiquiátrico “Dr. Luis Daniel Beauperthuy”
Las actividades iniciaron con la celebración del día nacional de la salud mental para promover los derechos de los pacientes mentales
Romer Badell / Prensa Gobernación de Monagas.- El personal médico, administrativo, de enfermería y obrero del Hospital Psiquiátrico “Dr. Luis Daniel Beauperthuy” organizaron el XXX Aniversario de la institución de salud mental, cuyas actividades recreativas, formativas y culturales se desarrollarán a lo largo del mes de octubre para la integración del ente sanitario con la colectividad.
Así lo dio a conocer el director médico del centro de salud, Dr. Jesús Acosta, quien aseguró que será el 28 de octubre cuando se realicen los actos centrales, fecha en la cual fue inaugurado el nosocomio de salud mental.
La jornada comenzará el 17 del mes en curso con una jornada de oftalmología, dermatológica e infectologia, dirigido para el personal de la institución y a los pacientes, seguido de una jornada de desparasitación, medicina vial, peluquería, inmunización y odontología, para cerrar esa semana con la iglesia católica con una jornada de recolección de ropa usada, zapatos y detergente, insumos, colchones entre otros.
La jornada continúa el lunes 24 con la realización de Misa de Acción de Gracias, juegos culturales y recreativos, seguido de obras teatrales, atención especial a los pacientes y para el miércoles habrá una jornada médica especial para los pacientes hospitalizados del hospital psiquiátrico de Maturín. El día jueves la jornada médico científica y cierra la jornada con juegos tradicionales y pesquisas de diabetes para culminar con una fiesta para todos los trabajadores.
Estas actividades cuentan con la venia del Instituto Único de Salud del estado Monagas (InsaMonagas), cuyo ente garantiza la asistencia a los pacientes recluidos a través de la disposición de los insumos y medicamentos que se entregan a través del Servicio de Elaboraciones Farmacéuticas (SEFAR), ente adscrito al Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Salud. (MPPPS).
