Romer Badell / Prensa Gobernación de Monagas.- Las autoridades del Instituto de Salud del estado Monagas (InsaMonagas), la gerencia hospitalaria del Hospital Universitario “Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar” (Humnt), la gerencia de la nueva Pdvsa Socialista en la entidad realizaron una inspección en las área de Sala de Parto y Quirófano central del nosocomio universitario donde la estatal petrolera realiza trabajos de mejoras en dichos espacios
El equipo encabezado por la presidenta de InsMonagas, Dra. Autora Nava, el director del Humnt, Dr. Luis Briceño, el Dr. José Tadeo Borjas Gerente médico de Salud de Pdvsa, Douglas Marcano gerente de Servicio Logístico, José Girat, Asesor de la Dirección General de Pdvsa Oriente, Tomy Velandia Gerencia de Salud Pdvsa Furrial y José Carrasquel Coordinador de equipos médicos del ente sanitario, quienes evaluaron los trabajos emprendidos por la empresa petrolera para mejorar la calidad de atención a las parturientas en el Hospital de Maturín.
Entre los planteamientos expuestos por los funcionarios de la empresa nacional petrolera se centró en la humanización del servicio, además de promover espacios de calidad para que los médicos, enfermeras, madres y recién nacidos cuenten con una infraestructura adecuada al proceso de transformación revolucionaria, es decir, de calidad e integral.
La presidenta de InsaMonagas, Dra. Aurora Nava, agradeció el esfuerzo de la empresa petrolera quien en las últimas semanas se ha metido de lleno en la reparación de las fallas presentadas en sala de parto como parte de las políticas de inversión social que tiene la nueva industria que está a su juicio de la mano con el desarrollo de la nación.
Por su parte el Dr. José Tadeo Borjas Gerente médico de Salud de Pdvsa acotó que su visón social e integrado se centra en mejorar la calidad de atención a las mujeres embarazada que acude al servicio en el principal centro de salud de Monagas.
“En este servicio de ginecobstetricia estamos adecuado el retén y los quirófanos para ofrecer la respuesta oportuna que desde el sector salud debemos dar a la mujer embarazada, cuyos trabajos nos permitirá aumentar la capacidad de atención, porque vivimos a trasformar la salud al alcance de todos para una mayor calidad de vida” dijo el funcionario.
Esta inversión emprendida por Pdvsa en el estado Monagas está dentro de los lineamientos del Plan de la Patria, para lograr la reducción de los índices de muertes materna y neonatales, lo que se resumen en un gran aporte para todo el oriente del país.
Entre las labores emprendidas por Pdvsa está el aislamiento temporal de las áreas de retén, quirófano y observación donde iniciaron los trabajos los cuales culminarán con la adecuación, pintura y entrega de las áreas. Los trabajos de remoción, cambio, sustitución, colocación de andamiajes, adecuación y pintura del cielo raso con láminas de drywall, ya fueron culminados, y se espera que se acondicione y coloquen algunas lámparas para culminar la obra.
Sobre este tema la Coordinadora Médica del Programa Familia, Dra. María Rebeca Gómez, agradeció a Pdvsa, no sólo por los trabajos que está desarrollando dentro de sala de parto, sino por la impermeabilización, la dotación del tensiómetro y por las correcciones de las fugas que en los últimos meses ha desarrollado en el referido lugar.
“Estamos acondicionado con Pdvsa la estructura física – dijo Gómez – a la par estamos empeñados en formar a nuestros médicos y al personal de enfermería para que la atención a las mujeres embarazadas sea más humanizada, con calidad y en condiciones que nos disminuyan las incidencias negativas que ocurren. Gracias una vez más por este esfuerzo que nos pone en mejores condiciones para atender a los miles de niños que nacen en el hospital”.
El equipo multidisciplinario de Pdvsa, InsaMonagas y Dirección del Humnt, también inspeccionó el área de quirófano central, donde se asumieron unos compromisos para la optimización del servicio el cual garantizará una mejor atención a los pacientes que acuden al hospital central.
