Ana Rodríguez Mayorga /Prensa Gobernación.- La gobernadora revolucionaria Yelitza Santaella, continúa de manera incasable luchando para garantizarle al pueblo de Monagas los alimentos a buen tiempo y a precios accesibles.
Es por ello que constantemente la mandataria regional brinda el apoyo a quienes se sumaron a las acciones que el Gobierno Bolivariano emprendió para salirle al frente a la economía criminal que han impuesto desde los espacios de la derecha venezolana al pueblo.
En tal sentido la gobernadora giró instrucciones a Carlos Flores, Secretario del Poder Popular para la Gestión del Gobierno regional, para inspeccionar los sembradíos ubicados al sur del municipio Maturín.
“En el marco del Plan de Siembra 2016 y bajo la dirección de la gobernadora estamos supervisando la siembra de 500 hectáreas de maíz amarillo en Altamira que serán considerados para la planificación en Monagas de la Gran Misión Abastecimiento Soberano y Seguro, anunciada por el presidente de la República, Nicolás Maduro”, dijo.
Flores señaló que esta siembra es producto de un convenio entre la Gobernación Bolivariana de Monagas y productores del campo de brasileños residenciados en el estado.
También recorrió la siembra de la zona agrícola del sector cinco de Santa Inés parroquia San Simón sur en la capital monaguense, junto al productor German Herrera.
Destacó que sólo en esta zona se encuentran en pleno cultivo una hectárea de yuca dulce y una de yuca amarga, 30 mil plantas de piña, 10 mil matas de batata y en desarrollo los semilleros para dar inicio a otro ciclo corto de siembra con los rubros de pimentón, ají y berenjena.
Entre tanto el trabajador de la tierra indicó que sólo a través de esta vía es posible garantizar los alimentos al pueblo y que no desmayará en sus labores de siembra junto y con el apoyo de la revolución.
“Tenemos que prepararnos para sembrar, recibir las inducciones y consejos de quienes tengan experiencia en los procesos de siembras”, apuntó.
