de atención de labio y paladar hendido
En esta jornada de atención fueron seleccionados 20 infantes, que suman un total de 60 niños y niñas que serán operados de forma gratuitaen la ciudad de Caracas

Como parte de las políticas públicas en materia de salud, que ejecuta la gobernadora del estado Monagas Yelitza Santaella a través de la Fundación Regional El Niño Simón Monagas, se realizó una jornada de atención para niños y niñas con condición de labio y paladar hendido.
El director de salud y bienestar de la Fundación El Niño Simón,doctor José Rafael Acosta, aseguró que esta jornada contó con un grupo multidisciplinario de galenos, quienes se encargaron de brindar atención y remitir los casos, a fin de establecer prioridades en cada infante.
“Hoy hemos recibido a un grupo de más de 30 niños y niñas de los cuales seleccionamos a 20, quienes pasan a completar un total de 60 pequeños que serán atendidos en la ciudad de Caracas”, indicó Acosta.
Además informó que de los 20 casos, 11 padecen malformación de labio y los 9 restantes de paladar hendido.
Por su parte, la coordinadora regional del programa de labio y paladar hendido de la Fundación El Niño Simón, doctoraSolangel García, destacó que con esta selección de 60 infantes se cumple con la primera jornada de atención de las dos que tiene previsto realizar la Gobernación del estado Monagas.
Por ello instó a las familias cuyos niños o niñas presenten esta particularidad, a asistir a las jornadas de despistaje y atención que realiza constantemente la Fundación Regional El Niño Simón Monagas.
Se espera que para el segundo semestre del año se realice la selección de los nuevos pacientes que serán operados de forma gratuita en la ciudad de Caracas, para continuar dándole movilidad a este programa que devuelve las sonrisas a los infantes.
Es importante mencionar que estas jornadas que lleva a cabo el Ejecutivo regional,es una de las más importante del oriente venezolano, que demuestra la mayor eficiencia y eficacia en los casos analizados y tratados.
