Prensa Gobernación de Monagas / Romer Badell.- Unas mil 656 madres de Monagas se beneficiaron con la entrega de pañales efectuadas por el ejecutivo regional, a través de la Dirección de Salud como parte de las políticas sociales emprendida por el gobierno de Yelitza Santaella en materia de salud asistencial.
En esta oportunidad el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Salud (MPPPS) dispuso en la Primera Fase la entrega de 207 bultos de pañales desechables entre las tallas P y XG, los cuales se distribuyeron en cinco centros asistenciales para aquellas madres con 32 semanas de gestación y en la consulta de control de niño sano así lo indicó la Autoridad Única de Salud de la Región, Dra. Aurora Navas.
“Estamos atendiendo un problema puntual con la entrega de pañales a estas mujeres, estimulándolas a mantenerse en control para proteger a su hijo y a ellas mismas, y contribuimos a frenar la especulación que se ha visto con la venta de este producto. Todo ello enmarcado dentro de los lineamientos del Ministerio del PPP la Salud y la directriz de la gobernadora revolucionaria Yelitza Santaella, en beneficio de la población más necesitada”, dijo Nava
Así mismo, la funcionaria indicó que en esta fase se beneficiaron más de mil mujeres en gestación con 32 semanas, lo que les permite enfrentar los ataques promovidos por la derecha opositora con la reventa de estos productos
Resguardo
La entrega de los bultos se hizo bajo el resguardo de los efectivos castrenses de la ZODI, así como del personal de salud en el hospital Simón Bolívar de la parroquia La Cruz, los ambulatorios del Complejo Habitacional La Gran Victoria, Dr. José María Vargas, Dr. José Antonio Serres, la Maternidad Mamá Rosa, la Casa de Abrigo Niño Jesús en la parroquia Las Cocuizas y en las instalaciones del hospital universitario Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar de la ciudad de Maturín.
Adultos Mayores también serán beneficiados
La autoridad única en salud, aseguró que en una nueva fase se estarán entregando los pañales para adultos mayores y a los pacientes con problemas motores y en condiciones especiales de acuerdo a los esquemas que está manejando el sector salud de la mano con las misiones sociales.

Mariannys Palmares, beneficiaria, agradeció al gobierno regional por esta entrega, lo que calificó como un importante esfuerzo efectuado por el gobierno revolucionario.

Así mismo, Génesis Rodríguez, otra de las beneficiarias, expreso el alivio que representa para ella y su bolsillo el recibir los pañales para su bebé.
“Estoy agradecida por este donativo que nos están haciendo, porque los especuladores quieren desangrarnos con la venta de los pañales. Por eso estoy agradecida con la Gobernadora Santaella y con todo el personal de salud y la Guardia por su esfuerzo en beneficio del pueblo monaguense”.
