Como parte de la política agroalimentaria que diseñó el gobierno revolucionario para garantizar al pueblo el acceso a los productos básicos, en Monagas, la gobernadora Yelitza Santaella ha financiado 203 hectáreas de café durante el 2015.
Un total de 8 millones 481 mil 347 bolívares fueron otorgados a través del Fondo de Crédito y Desarrollo del estado Monagas (Foncredemo) en los municipios Piar, Cedeño, Acosta y Caripe, donde fueron favorecidos 52 productores.
Dibbys Golindano, presidenta de Foncredemo, informó que a través de la Gerencia Agrícola se han entregado este año grandes recursos para apoyar a los pequeños y medianos productores, dando cumplimiento al Plan de la Patria.
“En cada municipio estamos apoyando a los productores con financiamientos para impulsar la siembra de rubros como el maíz, hortalizas, frutas, y café, en este último se han destinado más de ocho millones para la siembra de 203 hectáreas”.
Explicó Golindano que de estos recursos se invirtieron 5 millones 338 mil 121 bolívares para la siembra de 152 hectáreas de café mantenimiento por segundo año, así como 2 millones 529 mil 792bolívares para 42 hectáreas de café mantenimiento y 613 mil 433 bolívares para 9 hectáreas de café fundación.
