En un trabajo de sinergia y cooperación para el avance y desarrollo de las comunidades y en víspera de la celebración de las festividades de la Virgen del Valle, la Corporación Eléctrica Nacional –Corpoelec- entregó 100 nuevos bombillos ahorradores a la Alcaldía del Municipio Punceres, con lo cual se eleva a 350 los otorgados a esa jurisdicción.
La información fue suministrada por el gerente de Distribución y Comercialización de Corpoelec en la región, Francisco Reyes, quien explicó que en el mes de julio fueron colocados en esa jurisdicción 250 de estos bombillos con lo cual se optimiza el sistema de alumbrado público de las comunidades puncereñas.
Los bombillos entregados cuentan con 75 vatios cada uno y tienen la propiedad de iluminar de manera similar a los de alto consumo de 200 vatios, y tienen un tiempo de vida de útil de 10 mil horas de uso.

Con estas entregas de Bombillos ahorradores los trabajadores de la estatal eléctrica y alcaldías reforzaran el plan de ahorro energético que lleva a cabo este organismo a nivel nacional.
Reyes precisó que a este plan energético se incorporan de manera masiva y sistemática los tejidos sociales organizados de las comunidades tales como la Unidades de Batalla Bolívar Chávez (UBCh) y Círculos de Lucha Popular (CLP) encargados de gestionar la solución de los problemas en sus sectores y de garantizar el cuidado de estos equipos.
Agregó el Gerente de Corpoelec que otro de los objetivos de este programa junto a las comunidades organizadas es el cuidado de los controles eléctricos y el sistema de alumbrado público.

En otro orden de ideas explicó Reyes adelanto que próximamente se reunirán con la Autoridad Única de Salud de la región, Capitana María Alejandra Ruiz para dar a conocer los resultados de las labores de evaluación y diagnóstico del sistema eléctrico que los técnicos de Corpoelec y Pdvsa realizan en el Hospital Universitario “Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar” específicamente en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales.
Adelantó que dentro de los trabajos a emprender en la sala neonatal se requiere la consecución e instalación de un tablero, tarea que se realizará en esta misma semana. Precisó que aunado a ello, se amerita realizar una acometida directa para independizar esta sala de los otros servicios de salud.
